Starcraft 2 Replays Update
2 solo games posted. PvP and a TvZ. The PvP shows the power of sentries while the TvZ shows you why you don't base trade with a terran. A 2v2 game also has been posted that is quite funny.
Aquarium 10 gallon
Our 2 Tanks. The 10 gallon has 3 cory catfish, 5 pgymy catfish, 2 otoculus catfish and 1 flamingo guppy. The 2.5 gallon now has sashimi living in it with some malayasian trumpet snail.

New PETS!
Today we got 2 new pets, a 3 month old hamster named Hershey and a betta fish called Sashimi. Our previous betta Mr. Nibbles passed away :( , so we decided to replace him so his cage won't be unused. More pictures to come!
Today's Yummy Food - Dodo Hot Pot!
Today, I had the most yummy hot pot. Contents: rib eye beef, tofu, yam noodle bundled, imitation crab, you-chou vegetables. The soup base was just simple chicken powder with a hint of Tabasco sauce. It is soo good we have to eat this every day!

Today's Yummy Food - Stir Fry Spicy Pork Loin Chop!
Today we cooked stir fry pork loin. It was very juicy and spicy full of flavor. The Recipe we followed is from http://www.poultry.baytril.com/170/Spicy_stir-fried_pork_fillet_with_basil.htm . We used 1.5 tsp of chili paste instead and added no basil. It was very good sauce mix and worth a try with such simple ingredients. We rate it a 5/5 easy to cook, easy to make and very yummy.

Today's Yummy Food - Macaroni w/ Italian Sausage
Today we cooked and ate Macroni w/ Italian Sausage. We used the PC blue menu vegetable bolognese sauce. The sauce was actually surprisingly good. But I don't recommend buying it at regular price as it was quite pricey. The italian sausage was bought at wallmart. It was soo good and juicy. Takes about 15 min to fry on a pen. Don't cut it so i'tll retain all its juiciness. We then chopped it and threw it in with the sauce and vegetables. Final product was YUMMY!

Today's Yummy Food - Tofu w/ Honey and Chile Oil?
Today's recipe came from the website: http://www.blogher.com/frame.php?url=http://www.eatmedelicious.com/2007/06/tofu-magic.html. The only change was that we replaced maple syrup with honey. The sauce tasted surprisingly good with a sweet chile taste. Other things we added were frozen vegetables that were in our freezer. Overall, I think its a recipe good to try. It might taste better if maple syrup was used instead of honey.

Starcraft 2 Replays Update
New starcraft replays uploaded in 2v2, ZvT and a new PvT folder! Some replay highlights are 2v2 on how to pool resource to protoss player that goes mass gateways, how I miraculously won against a 5 rax reaper, and a standard ZvP game no cheese.
Today's Yummy Food - Beef and Tomato!
Today's meal was beef and tomato. If you guys ask why we ate beef everyday, it is because we bought a huge slab of angus beef that was on sale. Anyways, beef and tomato is easy to make. Slice tomatoes and beef. Add sliced ginger, cook beef, add tomatoes, add some sugar to the tomato, and tada done! Its simple fast and yummy to eat.

Today's Yummy Food -Shrimp on Pasta w/ Garlic and Lemon Flavour
Today, we cooked up a meal somewhat following a recipe we got from PC cooking school. The recipe is as follows:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small sweet onion, chopped
2 tbsp of fresh garlic
any amount of shrimp you would like
2 tbsp of lemon juice
random amount of salt and pepper, corn starch and sesame oil to taste.
The shrimp was cooked with the recipe above. Cooked pasta was then dumped in to the pan and mixed then served. The taste is very lemony with a touch of sesame oil. It was pretty good overall and hopefully we will cook again it soon.

Today's Yummy Food -Angus Beef Bulgogi
Today, we tried cooking beef bulgogi. We had to use the angus beef we bough so it is a little tender and juicy compared to the very thinly sliced beef. The bulgogi sauce was bought pre-made and was very tasty. It tasted similar to the bulgogi sauce that some korean restuarants use.

Today's Yummy Food - Chewy Japanese Fried Ramen Noodles w/ Angus Steak and Onions!
The noodle is bought from TNT, its called Chewy Japanese Fried Ramen Noodles with Kyoto BBQ Sauce. We added Angus steak that was on sale as our protein for the dish. The steak was a little over cooked so it was a little chewy on the inside. The sauce that came from the package was very good. We added some fresh kai-lan vegetables w/ oyster sauce on the side. Total cost of the mean was 3.50 for 2 people (all ingredients were bought on sale from TNT)! Each package is enough for 2 serving. I would eat it again but not to often as the noodles on normal price is 3.50 per package.

Today's Yummy Food - Chicken Pad Thai Dodo Style!
Today's dish was chicken pad thai. The recipe is taken from http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/a-pad-thai-worth-making/Detail.aspx. The few things we didn't add was the green onions, fresh cilantro and shrimp. The taste was a little sour and spicy but also sweet. It tasted very juicy especially with the amount the chili (2 tbsp of chiu chow chili oil - lee kum kee) we added worked well. I highly recommend trying the recipe and maybe adjusting the taste to your liking.

Today's Yummy Food - Chicken Stir Fry w/ Potato?!?
Today, we decided to make chicken stir fry. Following the recipe given in the site: http://www.recipetrove.com/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,383/Itemid,26/. We made "adjustments" to the recipe to compensate our portion size. Furthermore, we decided to eat it with potatoes since our potatoes were "expiring". The final dish looks weird but looks are deceiving! The green peppers we used were very sweet and the chicken was full of flavor. The sauce was very good and overall the recipe was not bad. It'd probably taste even better when served with rice instead of potatoes.

Aquarium History part 2 - 2.5 Gallon
From the previous aquarium post, I have decided to then buy a 2.5 gallon aqueon tank. I initially chose the tank because it is made of acrylic instead of glass which would make it more portable and lighter. Also it came with a built filter. Problems are that I didn't notice that the refill cartridges for the filter was very pricey, 3 for 9.99! I also had to buy a heater for the tank since winter was coming up and I did not want my fish to freeze to death. The incandescent bulb that came in the tank was pretty yellow and dulled the color of the fish and providing poor light spectrum for the java fern. so I bought a compact fluorescent bulb with a 4000K rating from wallmart. Initial plan was also to plant the tank with some java fern to soak up some of the nitrate to keep water quality high. Initially the tank went well, it took only about 1 week for the tank to be fully cycled as we seeded the gravel with the gravel from the previous 0.8 gallon tank. I also added nutrafin cycle which i thought helped a lot in speeding up the cycling.

Starcraft 2 Strategy ZvZ
Starcraft 2 replay has been posted for a ZVZ matchup. Both of us went for the exact same build but in the end, small harasses eventually won the game w/ a quick switch to hydra-roach.
Build - Standard Speedling Build to Roach
9 Overlord
14 Gas
14 Pool
16 OL
In ZvZ, openings are usually banelings or roaches. I opted for roaches to block my choke for any potential speedlings. My opponent did the same. Quick transition to mutas for harass is usually a good next step and provides good scouting info on your opponent. Expand when you have map control. You can NOT get mutas indefinitely as it will eventually boil down to a hydra roach army to end games in zerg. My hydra/roach where upgraded, his wasn't. Therefore, he lost.

Today's Yummy Food - Ma Po Tofu and Chinese Vegetable w/ Oyster Sauce
Very yummy (the meat is ground chicken not beef ). For the tofu we tried a pre-made sauce from TNT that was labeled as "hot". After cooking the ma po tofu, we found it to be very mild at best and not worth the money. Too bad I threw out the box before I could find out the brand.
My First Post
My first blog will be about my aquarium, food and starcraft 2. For the aquarium, I will be talking mostly about its progress and some reviews on the products I have used. For starcraft 2, I will be sharing some of my opinions and strategies for all three races for single player and multiplayer.
I have three aquariums, a 0.8 gallon Marina tank, a 2.5 gallon Aqueon tank, and a 10 gallon tank. I first bought the 0.8 gallon for a betta fish whose name is Mr. Nibbles. The tank consists of a plastic money tree, gravel and five pebbles the pros of this setup is that the water is steady which betta fishes like. It also takes up much less space than larger tanks. A con is that maintenance has to be done every 3 days or else the ammonia and nitrite concentration will be too high. Nitrogen cycling cannot be done with this small of a tank because the water volume is just to small. Therefore, I decided to buy a 2.5 Gallon Tank for my betta fish.
